Onion-Pepper Fry ( Onion-pepper Bhajji ) Recipe

Quick crispy comfort snack for tea-time / iftar / rainy-day / winter-day .. enjoy 🙂

 




Ingredients: ( for onion-pepper fry )

2 – onion (thinly sliced)
1 – bellpepper/capsicum – (thinly sliced )
1 tbsp – mint leaves ( chopped )
1 cup – besan / chickpea flour ( fine )
1/3 cup – water
1/2 tsp -salt
Oil – for deep frying
Spice powders:
1/2 tsp – turmeric powder
1 tsp – chilli powder
1/4 tsp – pepper powder
1 tsp – coriander powder
1/2 tsp – cumin powder

Method:

Step 1)
Get ready with all the ingredients
Step 2) Into a bowl, add 1 cup besan flour, 1/3 cup water and make a thick batter ..
Step 3) Into the batter, add the sliced onion, bellpepper, mint leaves, salt & spice powders and mix ..

Step 4) Deep fry in hot oil until golden & crisp .. ( After a minute, flip and fry for 1 more minute .. when looks cripsy & golden, take out ! ) ..

Crispy Onion-Pepper fry (onion-pepper bajji) ready ! ..
