Mushroom Fried Rice recipe

 

Mushroom Fried Rice ( for Toddler, Kids & Family )..


Ingredients:
( for Mushroom fried rice )

1 cup – mushroom ( sliced or chopped)
1/2 cup – peas
1 tbsp – coriander leaves chopped
1 tbsp – oil
salt – 1/2 tsp ( or to taste )
Spice powders : ( 1/4 tsp – turmeric powder
1/ 2 tsp – chilli powder,  2 tsp – coriander powder )

For the rice:
1 tbsp – oil
2 – cardamom,  2 – cloves,  1″ cinnamon
1 Cup – rice
2 Cups – water and salt to taste

Method
:

Step 1)
Get ready with all the ingredients..

Step 2)
Cook the rice:
  • Heat a saucepan and pour a tbsp of oil
  • Add the chopped garlic, onion, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and cook until the onion turns soft
  • Add the rice, water, salt to taste and bring it to a boil
  • Once it starts boiling, cover, reduce the heat to low and cook for 12 minutes..

Step 3) Heat a wok/kadai or a big fry pan and pour a tbsp of oil

Step 4) Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until soft on medium heat ( takes 3 – 4 mintues )..

Step 5) Add the salt, spice powders ( turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder ) and mix

Step 6) Add the peas and cook for 3 minutes on medium heat

Step 7) Add the coriander leaves and cook for 1 minute

Step 8) Fluff the cooked rice and add into the mushroom pan

Step 9) Gently mix everything together ( on low heat ) for 1 minute and turn off the heat.. ( Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving ) ..

Mushroom fried rice is ready to serve.. enjoy warm 😀
